1 ILLUMINA (Illumina NovaSeq 6000) run: 20.5M spots, 6.2G bases, 1.9Gb downloads

Submitted by: NCBI (GEO)
Study: Novel chitinase, MdCht9, in Musca domestica
show Abstracthide Abstract
To investigate how MdCht9 contribute to the development and digestion of Musca domestica, we silenced the chitinase gene 9 (MdCht9) by its dsRNA, while silenced the GFP as the control. Then we compared the differental expression genes between the test group and the control group. Overall design: Retinal mRNA profiles of silencing MdCht9 (dsMdCht9) and silencing GFP (dsGFP) toward to the 2nd-instar housefly larvae.
Sample: GEO accession GSM5702500 is currently private and is scheduled to be released on Nov 30, 2021.

Organism: Musca domestica
Library:
Instrument: Illumina NovaSeq 6000
Strategy: RNA-Seq
Source: TRANSCRIPTOMIC
Selection: cDNA
Layout: PAIRED
Construction protocol: The 2nd instar larvae were used for dsRNA injection (n = 3/group). The whole larval body was collected at 24 h post injection, then, immediately frozen in liquid nitrogen, and stored at -80 °C. The total RNA was extracted using Trizol reagent; 3 μg RNA per sample was used as input material for the RNA sample preparations. RNA libraries were prepared for sequencing using standard Illumina protocols
